For my Supporting Literacy Class (ESPE 301), I designed a unit for a hypothetical fourth grade general music classroom. The assignment was to incorporate literacy skills into an entire unit of study, and to use different principles of instruction such as Universal Design for Learning, Multiple Intelligences, and Flexible Grouping.
